Over 70-Year-Old House gets New Windows
70+-YEAR-OLD WINDOWS get a much-needed UPGRADE! The homeowner was looking for maintenance-free, energy-efficient vinyl windows to replace existing ones that were requiring a ton of upkeep. Hardrath Improvements installed 10 high-performance Alliance Belmont double-hung windows with insulated glass and 8 Belmont picture windows in the basement. As challenging as it can be to change out over-70-year-old windows, Hardrath was able to get the different window sizes needed from Braun, expertly install them, and aluminum “wrap” the frames to make all the units completely maintenance-free.
The homeowner loves the way they look and operate, especially the tilt-in sashes for super easy cleaning, and is looking forward to lower energy bills. An added bonus includes a noticeable difference in outside noise reduction.
